It was on the cover of some San Fran area magazine and the editors apologised for it? Does anyone see anything offensive here??

rickg 06-13-2003 04:02 PM

Does being an ugly picture qualify?;)

TX76513 06-13-2003 04:04 PM

Uh

Driver not wearing seatbelt?

yal 06-13-2003 04:05 PM

Its a BMW?

engatwork 06-13-2003 04:08 PM

Looks like the tractor driver is going accross the rows of crops instead of down the row. He is tearing up his crop.

Cap'n Carageous 06-13-2003 04:29 PM

Supposedly there is an image in there that is 'offensive' but I don't see it.

what's this look like to you? i see something like a child there. dunno...

Cazzzidy 06-13-2003 07:46 PM

Man, I looked for 5 minutes and couldnt find a thing.

I thought for sure I would discover an outline of a naked body or some genitalia in the drawing. Damn.

MikeTangas 06-13-2003 09:03 PM

What appears to be a kid on the tractor, when the picture is blown up, is actually the steering wheel and air gap between tractor body and the driver.

At 400% is does appear that several of the grape vines (at least that what the look like) appear to be "mooning" the BMW, that or the southbound end of a north bound horse. The BMW is also sliding out in the minor curve and the driver is steering left to correct.

Don't really see anything worth apologizing over though.

Would it be possible to get a link to a larger image?
I'm usuallly pretty good at finding things like this, but it's a little too small.

Gilly,

Right click on the picture, select copy. Open Word and paste the picture into a word doc, then enlarge the picture to 400% or more using the zoom feature.

Gilly 06-13-2003 09:59 PM

Mike
I right click on it and hit "copy" and nothing seems to happen.
I went to try to "print" the picture (preview) and in that screen I can alter the size, but of course the image is too poor to spot anything.

That looks like a church on the top right...knowin the Bay Area, I'll bet people complained about it...

I'm not religious, but sometimes these dingbats really go too far...

drbrandini 06-14-2003 12:15 AM

Im guessing because it looks as thought the tractor driver has a little kid in front of him

MikeTangas 06-14-2003 02:29 AM

Gilly,

Sorry for the lag in response. When you right click and copy, you really won't see anything happen because it is only putting a copy to the clipboard. You have to follow up with the next step of pasting that copy into a word document. Once the picture is in the word doc you are free to blow it up to a much larger size.
