Hi and Thank You,
I try never to take it down dirt roads but it does happen. After the show, we drove home to Ma from NJ in a monsoon ! I would not call it a daily driver because I won`t take it to parking lots where it might get dinged[ Kmart, supermarkets and the like} When we take it out to eat {us not the car} I park in the back 40 or the last space at an angle. Some days I just don`t feel like killing some stupid A--hole who can`t respect other peoples property. The car is driven March to November, provided there is no salt on the roads. I hope that the car will never have to be painted or restored. As I told my wife:" When you take my ashes to the Cemetary, You`d better be driving this car" Thanks again, John

Congrats. Any links to the show pics? I love the 560SEC, it is such an elegant car. I just read a fantastic article from its launch, singing the car's praises in Car November 1986. I look out for these cars all the time: one day I'll get one (to go with the 190E 2.5-16, 500SL (r107), 300E, 320CE cab, and all the other Mercs that sit in my dream garage).
