I drove a Maybach 57 today, it was incredibly fast and smooth. It is a large car that handles extremely well. All I can say is that it was AWESOME!!! I thought no other hood ornament would ever look as good on a hood then the Mercedes star, but the Maybach ornament looked great . There is leather every where you look. And the engine, as the Italians would say "fa geta bout it".

So.......... just curious.......... what did you have to do before they let you drive it? Financial statement, bribery?? I'm genuinly curious.

Years ago, before I was making any kind of money, I wanted to test drive the last model of the Nissan Z (the one prior to the one that just came out). The salesman said they only let people who were seriously thinking of buying soon drive the cars. Maybe I just looked too young and poor!

I am a business manager at the Mercedes store so I did not have to jump to high to drive it, but they are not letting just anybody drive it. This is a floating demo so we only have it for a short time.

Thanks for th offer, but I better stick with the family I have now. As for the Maybach, we had to give it back to Mercedes to take to another dealership.
