Not bad for a 20 year old car on its second engine and tranny.

I was driving my dad's 1983 Toyota Cressida, and just a 1/4 mile from the the El Sobrante/Orinda backroads, i came across a Integra, and it's your stereotypical Integra, driven by a young Asian teenager, had the park bench on it, a set of stripes off a bus, a fugly looking body kit, and of course it has the quiessential Yuban coffee can exhaust on it and a street-glo. Judging by his driving, he looked like he wanted to race me. So what i did, i psuedo-raced him, keeping in in my sights, i beat him most of the time, but i still had my senses, by going the limit in a 25 zone. i was doing 45(the limit was 40), and i managed to keep him in the dust, it was a crowded road, and he was behind a Dodge Ram. Call it reckless driving, but i say it isn't bad for a 20 year old car, i only wish it had the brakes of a Benz on it. I wouldn't street race, it's a just a dumb idea, i woulda told him to meet me at Sears Point. As for the car, it was pretty advanced in its day, a DOHC 6-inline with electronic fuel injection, a electronically controlled tranmission, independent suspension all the way around, the rear setup is amost like the Benz setup used in the 107, 123, and 126 cars, and 4 wheel ventilated disc brakes.
