Thumbs up glucosomine works!

After taking advice from our friend Lebenz(where is he,anyway?), I started taking glucosomine supplements a few months ago. I've had chronic aches in mostly my knees for several years now, and has limited my physical activity. I mentioned this way back when we were discussing cholesterol and excercise:
Any good ways to lower cholesteorol?
Anyway, this stuff works great! I've cut my ibuprofen intake to next to nothing. The stuff is kinda spendy, but I'd rather use this then anti-infamatory drugs. I'm going to break out the treadmill and see if I can get some excercise again.
Just passing this on to any other of us old-timers

Yeah, my wife takes that stuff too, (Glucosamine Chondroitin Complex supplement). It helped her for awhile, then one of her knees started bothering her. Got recommended to a sports medicine doc, who noticed right away that she has one leg longer than another! So, been seeing a physical therapist who's getting her all "staightened out" (can't believe they didn't recommend a Chiropractor).
But she still takes the supplements too, I also heard this "shark cartilage" stuff is good for joint problems.

I'm not old and I've been taking it for about a year. The joints in my fingers and hands used to ache from playing guitar but now they're a lot better. The stuff is good, I purchase the pills, but I think you can get it from the vet in powder form for a lot cheaper.
