DC to build new production facility in GA, NOT
 

Daimler/C was planning a new production plant near savannah in GA, which reportedly spent $60M preparing the proposed site.

DC now says plans are postponed indefinetly.

There's the Sprinter, which is available with a Freightliner badge at the moment and, last I checked, they're also planning on putting a Dodge badge on it for the next model year.

However, I thought there was already a plant in the U.S. for them...unless DC was thinking about building a second one?

Sprinters are big sellers. UPS and Fedex are both using them. There's a US Sprinter group at Yahoo. Dodge has been selling them for a while.
They make a great chassis for a small mothorhome. I'm surprised there's not a forum here devoted to them.
