Just witnessed Accident!

Well......was on the way to return some movies and noticed a nice shiny Forest green W124 behind me. I came to the stoplight and proceeded in the left turn lane while the w124 went in the lane next to me to go straight and she had a green.......all of a sudden...I see the 124 just instantly spin around several times as she got hit really hard on the side and the nice 8hole wheel totally screwed up and twisted. Some guy in a old bonneville went through the red and just nailed her. Didnt have much time to look at the 124 but it had damage and the broken wheel. They both drove to the side and into the gas station and on my way back I noticed the 124 left there at the gas station and everybody gone.

I was so pissed and shocked to see something happen like that. The women was shaken up and was lucky she was hit more at the rear trunk area.......it was the wagon.

That stinks! You should have left your contact information with her to help out should it go to court.

Wow! Thats scary!

I made the mistake of sticking around an accident scene once. I was there for almost an hour and a half. No one was hurt ... the woman just really wanted some insurance money and evidence against the other guy.

I will never stop again unless someone is hurt.

Many years ago, I was on my way to picking up my daughter from daycare when some kid in a mini-pickup zoomed past me and continued onward in his reckless course, weaving in and out of traffic.

I was close enough to witness him inattentively blow through a traffic signal and t-bone a woman at speed who had just gotten the green light.

I called 911 and requested an ambulance at the scene, but chose not to stop and act as a witness...the kid did his deed during rush hour traffic and his speed and nature of the impact was incriminating enough as evidence.

If I wasn't already late picking up my daughter, I would have wanted to remain at the scene to give the police plenty of ammo to nail his senseless behavior!
