Sox fans... Class act. Eloquent, too.

Who will your pitcher take on next? Santa claus?

I always root for the Sox unless they are playing NY but I am embarassed for Boston after the zimmer incident. Sure he came at martinez but he is SEVENTY TWO YEARS OLD! There is no excuse for MArtinez trying to KILL the poor old guy! Shame on Martinez.

May the best team win. We always do.

Yankees fan.

P.S. to "the guy", let's bet a ride in the Mog on the outcome of the series. I want a Mog!

Subplots:

1) Pedro and his head seeking fast ball
2) Roger and his head seeking fastball
3) The end of the curse?
4) Roger's last game?
5) All to take place in the house that Ruth built, game 7 winner takes all.

As a baseball fan it just doesn't get better than this

Boston gambled and lost. When you have no stats to support your decision to play Pedro in the eigth you simply don't.

some quips buzzing around the 'net today . . .

"Boone didn't hit a home run. . . it was Ruth"

"Bambino, Bucky, and now Boone . . . "

"5 outs away for the Cubs and the Sox was just too many"
