J30 wont start

I sure miss this board and the quick replies when I had a Benz. On to my problem, I currently own a 1993 Infiniti J30. On Saturday the car ran fine, I shut it off for approx. 15 mins. came back to go to the store and now the car doesnt start. It cranks but doesnt start. I have fuel and spark but still it doesnt want to start. I had corrosion on the terminals, cleaned them off but still nothing, put the battery charger on ths battery, it did crank quicker but still wont start. I had a Lincoln Continental back in the day and it would occassionally do this, that turned out to be the crank sensor. How does one go about testing a crank sensor on an Infiniti( a new sensor cost $380-), cant do a diagnostic test until Saturday. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Guess my next automobile will be a Benz :)

Problem solved. Coolant temp sensor

OK same problem crept up again with this d*mned car. The car sat a whole week with the avg temp at 27 degrees, this time my brother made the ECM believe that it was warmed up to 151 degrees and the car started (the first time this happened in November the car was already warm). What could possibly be causing this. Using a SNAP ON scanner, code 55 comes up which means everything is normal, but obviously everything is not normal. Does anyone have any ideas? Does the fact that this time the car was cold and last time the car was warm rule out the cold idle sensor?

TIA
