I have a new "baby"
Last Wednesday evening, I took a short trip to a small town northeast of Dallas. I spoke with the owner of a ranch there that had some pups for sale. I ended up leaving with my latest bundle of fur - a nine week old male Great Pyrenees
Meet Bear: http://www.saturnfans.com/photos/data/500/4095bear1.JPG I hope to have many good years with him at my side. He will be a housedog even with the potential to reach well over 100 pounds as an adult. It feels good to have a dog sleeping at my feet once again. |
Congratulations!
Dogs definitely make life better. I love my little weenie dog, Pee Wee, just as much as I love my kids. |
... so you prefer an emotionally shallow animal?
only a JOKE :p , thats a quote from the robert deniro movie "meet the parents" when deniro was expressing his preference for cats. (pretty good movie if you havent seen it) hes a great looking specimen, and im sure will provide many years of joy! 1 should do, as im sure it doesnt get cold enough there in tx for a "three dog night"! |
Yup, I've seen that movie. It's a riot to watch.
And YES I DO prefer an emotionally shallow animal over the hyper complex kind that refuse to be understood at any given moment!! :D Lemme see, I remember a couple of the 10 best reasons for why dogs were better than girlfriends: The longer you're gone, the happier the dog is to see you. Dogs don't get mad at you for visiting other dogs. |
Thats a great looking dog, congrats.
