noisy rear end
I have a 1995 suburban with 65k miles on it. Last week it started howling at the rear end when I first get going and when I slow down. It fades out when the speed goes above 35mph.
Any ideas what could be the problem, I checked the diff oil level and it was good. Any sites that I can learn more about rear end work. The U joints are good also, no vibration is felt either. Thanks for responses, they are all welcome.:) |
Check your wheel bearings too. They'll growl at low speeds when they start to pit and wear.

And here I was going to offer the advice of to stop eating beans before bedtime...:D
