Do you personally know any great musicians? Listen to this one from me:
I'm sure all of us know someone who wants to be an accomplished musician to some degree. We usually call them dreamers, support them, and hope they'll give up early enough before their lives become wasted.
Then there's those few who are simply GREAT musicians. Mikemover is one we ALL know, right?  I've known Kevin for over ten years. He learned to play the banjo as payback for getting a moped from his father. He promised to practice half and hour a day. Now he has his own band in Tennessee. Do you play?
My grandfather and his identicle twin brother had a jazz band way back in the 30's. My mom says they were very good. He wrote a song for my mom when she was born which she still sings.

My father was a brilliant jazz guitarist/vocalist. He was a recording artist in the fifties and actually toured with Woody Herman. Sadly, the music gene died with him...
