Car wash brush

Do any of you use a car wash brush similar to the one in the coin washes? I used it last nite and it takes so little time to wash the car with it and I didnt notice any scratches done from it.

Are these things really safe? I really do prefer washing with this because its so much easier and I used alot of soap so there is plenty of lubrication.

I've noticed that a lot of former "touchless" car washes that used to just use water pressure and "frictionless" detergent have now upgraded to those strips that look like thick chamois cloths...I don't trust those either!

So I hand wash...

My dad does upholstery, he had a friend who opened a car wash a few years back and asked him to make some of those strips. I saw and felt how terrible they really are, they feel like nylon scrub pads......no kidding.

Swirls come out anyway......Ill use the wash mit again but this I guess was a test and it did save me alot of time.

Ya when I worked at a freinds car wash I always passed through the tunnel to empty out the garbage and felt the pads.....wasnt what I call a "soft cloth wash" but we had those 3 pointed stars coming through like no tommorow....even a w140 1992 and the guy brought it there since new every single saturday and there is nothing wrong with the paint at all.

Really whatever you use or do when it comes to removing dirt on a car you will swirl it a bit or leave marks.
