New mileage badge back-thingie?

I have installed my mileage badge, but I snapped both sides of the little plastic thingie that comes with it for the back of the grill. How do I get another one, and will it cost me?

You could make another one out of a flat piece of sheet-metal or rubber, or just use some large washers.

Milage badge? for over 100,000 or something?

Yep. You can get the paperwork from a local MB dealer, and send it in to get a free badge (if your car is over the appropriate mileage landmark, of course).

Oh, yeah...that's right...I knew it was ONE of you Texas guys! :)

Thanks for correcting that. :)

Well, I got it fixed. I went to my local indie, and he gave me a little metal peice w/ some holes, and a couple of metal washers for free. It also helped that I bought about $25 worth of stuff at the time as well...:)

There is a 200k mileage badge floating around somewhere on the internet. I think I will go get it....

You should get the 200k one...you can't get those any more from the dealer...they start at 250k now.
