What is this paint flaw?
I have these squigglies on my fresh paint. not everywhere but some places.
They are very hard to photograph. but i caught the right angle thankfully. I complained about them but was told they can be buffed out. I doubt it. They look deep. I was also told they may be DA marks. Someone else said they held an orbital sander at an angle. Please help so I can figure out what to do. I paid for a perfect paint job and didn't get one so im pretty upset.

Looks like a type of orange peal.
Try using a compound formula, but try not to burn through the paint.

That is clearly a very poor sanding job. And if you actually can buff this out, there won't be much paint left.
If you paid for a perfect paint job, they have yet to deliver it! Get another paint shop's opinion on what went wrong and use that when you demand to have it re-done. Freestyler

They look like one of two things (i) DA sanding marks where too fine a grade has been used after a coarse grade, so the coarsest marks are left. (ii) orangepeel that has been sanded flat and then polished, but not sanded enough, so again you can see the deepest marks.
They can buff them out but they might leave you with very thin paint, that is if they don't 'go thru' and have to start again. |

Everytime i think about it this whole situation makes me feel upset. I'm young just starting a career and this was a LOT of money for me to spend. It doesn't look like it will ever get remedied unless i put more money into it. what a waste.
