Exclamation Scam PayPaL email

Today I received an email from a sender identified as PayPal.com.

Basic gist of the mail claimed that all PayPal accounts are being updated and that the attached file needs to be run in order to update the PayPal account registered to my email address.

The name of the attached file is www.paypal.com.scr

I'm 99.9% sure this is horse hockey, likely a virus or a personal data miner, something that will allow the scoffaws to perform an identity theft. I have contacted PayPal about this email. I know many of the forum members also use PayPal and should be warned not to open any email attachments in emails from PayPal.com.

BTW: real email from PayPal lists the sender as PayPal not PayPal.com.

Be careful when checking your email.
