Attn Skiers, part 2

So, I have pretty much convinced myself it is time to buy new skis. I've been watching this shop on ebay sell new Volkl Carvers with mounted bindings shipped for $199 US.

What do you think of a deal like this? Is it worh the risk?

Depends what the reserve is. The company seems reputable, and hey, they're Canadian!

Are you sure about the V3s though? I find them pretty soft. If you're an advanced skier and/or you ski hard and fast, I'd go with the P50 SCs rather than the V3. It's a versatile ski but when you push it hard, it gives pretty easily.

We've got one run open already at a resort near me...time to get the skis waxed....yeah!

I've seen them break reserve at $199. AS for the V3s, I'm a simple intermediate, that enjoys the long cruisers, with the occassional venture into the rough stuff

That's a good price for those skis with bindings. I paid $400 CDN for my P50s with bindings, and that was at a significant discount. Good luck and have fun!

Be careful of some wholesale ski sellers often they are selling skis with interior defects.
