Who has the best cellular service in Los Angeles?

I'm currently with At&t and I think they SUCK!!!!!!!!! I work in Long Beach and I live in West Hollywood. I originally went w/ATT because I wanted to be able to have free minuntes between my phone and my wife's. My main issues are that reception is poor. I have poor reception in all the areas I frequent - Long Beach, Culver City, Mid Wilshire, and Beverly Hills. I'm often dropped and yet will never or seldom see it as dropped on my bill.

Should I go Nextel? Are they really better? Or should I go with Sprint being that I heard that they have free minutes between any Sprint phones and I have other friends/associates that have Sprint phones. I do fear that the Sprint thing is a gimik at the moment just to get new users and I'd be pissed if they changed this policy.

Any suggestions?
