Bmw 645?

Back in the early 80s, why didn't BMW offer a 645csi alongside the 745i?

dunno... I have the same question about a 545... why didn't they make it?

Ted... the 745 was a version of the 735 (3.5L I6) with a turbocharger (from the factory). The same 3.5L engine was used in the 635, and 535.

As far as I know it was the 633 and 635 for US markets. The motor will fit in a 6 Seies, we put one in a few years ago.

just a thought... could you fit the turbo onto a current big 6 (w/ exhaust manifold, and intake) or do you have to swap the whole motor?
