Large auto collection being sold, 44 MB's.

They are in a wharehouse in Hartford, CT. Go to www.autocollection.4t.com. to see list. I saw this in the paper this week and went to the site. Some very interesting MB and BMWs. I will call them tomarow to see what they say.

Didn't I see something on a news-magazine show a few months back similar to this?

A guy and a couple women set up an operation where they sold cars dirt cheap over the internet to out of state buyers/investors. There actually weren't any cars. They took all the money and ran... until they got caught!

According to the ad in the paper, the collecter died and I guess the family is trying to sell most of them. There are 150 cars total. I will of course go to see them before I would consider buying one.

That is a very odd colection ! except for a few of the MB's the rest look like the type cars that dealers send to auction as they don't want them on their lots.........

william rogers you are probably right. I called and all the ones I was interested in were junk. The guy I was talking to was hard to understand. He had a very heavy Eastern European acent. He was vague as to where the cars came from and didn't know to much about some of them. I'll pass
