yea I will be watching..

I would give her $8K, just because of the color. This color is hard to find with 6cy, most I have seen are the 85 with 5cy..

L-rear quarter panel. I don't remember an indentation being there from factory on the W126? Had to have been a fairly good whack from something, as the metal is really solid at that part of the car. Pictures can decieve. That dent probably looks bigger in 3D.

$8K sounds resonable.

IIRC, it's a game of Russian Roulette as much as anything else. Some 350SD's have the problem, while others don't. At that mileage, I'd guess that either that engine's safe, has been replaced, or is ready to go...but I'll quickly admit to not being an authority on the OM60x engines

Maybe she calls it a ding

Like some dealers says no rust and you can see the bubbles all over the car..

If that is your dream car and checks out with Carfax I'd go for it. Of course have a thorough PPI done before paying. I'd also ask for a VMI and any receipts for work done.

Here's what I can tell from the pics.

Exterior:
- Minor indentation on the Drivers side rear fender. As long as the paint isn't broken it can be repaired with paintless dent repair.
- Very small ding on the passenger side front fender (near the crease) Again repairable with paintless dent repair.
- Front bumper scrape may come out with clay or rubbing compound, if not a respray will take care of it.
- Front Lights need to be replaced, Euro's would update and look beautiful. Old lenses are a good sign, a front end accident would require headlight replacement.
- Also the front bumper looks slightly pushed up, very minor though.
- Paint looks original, pretty rare for a car this age.

Interior is in excellent condition, no rips or tears and it's clean. No cracks in the wood from what I can tell.

I'm not affiliated in any way to the seller, I just think it's a great car from the pics. Would also be worth seeing in person to verify everything. Good luck.
