Research paper... hope you all like it
As I stated earlier, in the "where have the jobs gone" thread, I am working on a research paper on the current trend of outsourcing jobs. I just plowed through it, and there were some requests to read it, so I'm gonna post it here, and you all can download it and comment/edit it as you wish. This is just a rough draft (final is due on thursday, lots of editing to do), so it still needs a lot of work, but I definately would appreciate feedback on anything I said. I will post my final draft when I'm done, and I'm definitely throwing in a thank you to all who contributed to the other thread, because it really helped me formulate my thesis (last 3 sentences of the intro). Thanks a bunch guys!
BTW, the file is a word document inside a zip file. |

I quickly read your paper. I found the college graduation statistics quite interesting. I think they would carry more punch than they aleady do, if they were put in a broader context. In other words, in those countries what percentage of the population is graduating from college and how is this percentage increasing or decreasing over time and what fields are the graduates majoring in? It's a very valuable measure of a countries intellectual capital. It might be also interesting to compare the graduates of military colleges in the countries you reference.
It might also be useful to compare the kinds of colleges and universities available to people in those countries and the ease of access to those institutions.
