" We got him" Saddam captured!!!

What great news, and a great way to open the press conference. Hope this lowers the threat level over there, ( and over here).
Thanks to all who serve.

Wonder what we are going to do with him. Hopefully, he has been provided a court appointed lawyer .

Blair said the Iraqi people will decide his fate, considering the families of 400,000 executed people are still around I would bet he's in some deep Do-do. Maybe that's how he will be killed.

That is good news. Seeing as how the Muslim justice system is pretty swift and "final" he probably won't be around long enough to pen his "memoirs".

Three obesrvations

1. Will Zeitgeist oppose the death penalty for Saddam?

2. With the economy getting better and Saddam in the cooler, can the Dems beat Bush in 2004

3. I wonder what Pres. Bush told his Dad after he found out that Saddam had been captured?

Saddam = owned by US military!

like someone stated before, he should be tried according to muslim law (since he decided to get religious nearing the end of this war, calling on iraqis to "fight the infadels"). Honestly, I don't think they could be too harsh on him, he deserves to die in the most painful and shaming way.

i wouldnt normally be like this, but ...

use a piece of US built heavy equip to smash one of his statues into pieces sized for throwing, tie him to a pole in the middle of bagdad square, turn on the lights and CNN cameras at 9-PM usa time, and then remove the protective box and let the show begin!

someone please write "from thrillbilly with love" on one of those rocks.

Frankly, I would have been much more impressed if Bin Laden, who has actually committed crimes against the U.S., had been captured. Hopefully, this will lessen tensions in Iraq, but I wouldn't count on it.

Oh, of course someone would be unimpressed! After all, we're the big bad bully and Saddam was an innocent bystander in all of this right?

Some people!....

OK, everyone, everywhere who was whining because "Bush has not even managed to capture Saddam yet" can now officially kiss my skinny white a$$.

I mean that very respectfully, of course.

just finished watching an army official talk about it... I agree with the irony in his statement that saddam was found in a hole in the ground across the river from a palace that was bought by money stolen from the iraqi people. He deserves to burn for this. Big bad Saddam Hussein, found hiding in a ditch, gave up to the US army. He had a pistol with him, you figure that if he were the big-shot that he acts like he is, he would have committed suicide before surrendering.
