Why bother?

It would be a drain on anyone's wallet to try to replace the missing components...especially considering the age of the models and the corresponding lack of availablility of said components!

kinda makes you wonder though... what does it take for a car theif to strip down your car and sell everything on e-bay? No need for any title transfer if it's just parts, and you're gonna get cash, so it'd be hard to track.

These would most likely be used ot build race cars out of. Who needs anythign but the tub if youa re building a race car?

I didn't mean to suggest that only thieves would have a use for the tubs but it occured to me that it's something to consider when buying a used car.

If I wrecked my pampered 911 I'd find a tub to move the good parts to.
