Oh Canada....

Love the web site... lots of good stuff and very entertaining.
For anyone living in Canada another good MB site is

Maybe worth a look.

I posted here a couple months ago about the site. It's not real popular around here, for various reasons(long story).
But worth another plug

Thanks for the comment, Spock. I was rather referring to all the negative comments I got when I posted about MBCanada coming back online. Lot's of sarcasim, most of which I'm sure was harmless fun (as we are known to do ), but I did end up just deleting the thread.
It's a fun forum, not real good on technical stuff (yet), but still alot of good useful stuff. Our version of the "Open" topic forum, known as "Speakers Forum" (which I'm one of the moderators) is real low key compared to here. We have very little in-fighting, and basically have zero tolerance for flaming. But moderating there is a breeze, as everybody does a good job policing themselves. I think it was PaulC that said it's equivalent to a bunch of people sitting around sipping tea with their pinkies extended . Yes, and we like it that way:p Although we did just have a good debate on the death penalty.
Sooooo........c'mon over and give us a try. But leave your baseball bats at home, please

Thumbs up

I agree -- it's an almost shockingly friendly place, and the active presence of several women adds a touch of class and civility that's not to be found in most similar venues. The place just needs to liven up a little by adding to its membership.
