Help I'm trapped in a phone room in New Delhi

DambIt I thought I was gonna get a day off, but no – I’m trapped in a phone room in New Delhi – actually waiting on hold. Thought I’d network my computers today – it’s easy, as long as your computer has never been used before, but mine seems to have conflicting software, that nobody knows anything about. Something seems to have sabotaged my ability to network anything but the printers. The hardware says go to Microsoft who says its McAfee who doesn’t say hello for less than $50. So I’ll just rant – sorry.
I use a lot of less than mainstream stuff – the best of which is TradeStation that no longer supports their best product – well this stuff will over time – about once every 18 mo require a call to Microsoft. Although the time spent is always very long it’s never been like this before. I’m talking to trainees – and it’s getting worse – I’ve never really felt the effect of this outsourcing before – I’ve talked to New Delhi before, but they knew what they were doing. It seems now that THEY are the game things have changed. I broke karma and went shopping at Wal-Mart for an office chair - $60 chineese copy of a $200 “Hon” – it’s a great chair really, much better that the cheap crap at Office Depot and the like. My God no wonder they don’t pay much – they must have five time the employees they need.
I’m starting to feel like someday I’ll get up and the lights won’t work – anyplace. I’d shoulda put a solar pump on the well and bought some gold coins – no my neighbors would come for them – next week I’ll start a garden, buy some chickens – I’m still on hold!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that sucks. You've already stripped away all the extraneous software and then tried to build stuff back one at a time, I guess. Best of luck...
