the amish want to p!ss on ford!

i talked to a group of amish yesterday passing thru atlanta on their way from FLA back to PA. there was 12 on them sardined into a big-a$$ dodge ram van pulling a trailer. very nice people they were, but with their bonnets and beards, getting alot of stares from the natives here.

funny thing was: their van was equipped with a "little boy p!ss!ng on ford" sticker on their back window.

i wanted to trick them into a pic standing by the van so i could get both them and their sticker in the pic, but in the end, didnt have the heart to do it.

im thinking they may have been open to bending the rules.
considering their sticker and the waffle house hamburgers.

some folks call it a hamburger bun, i call it a kaiser roll! :p

i did actually think that about the picture taking, but thought that was typically reserved for native americans and their spirits.

any fans of BBT should see "Monster's Ball" and "The Man Who Wasn't There". both are worth your time.

MB is very good and gets you the bonus of an extended T&A scene of Halle Berry! also, in the outtakes, BBT suprises the cast and crew by walking in and starting one scene as "Karl", its damn funny. i even give puff-daddy-combs high marks here.

"You ain't a man, until you've split dark oak"

TMWWT is dark film noir, also very good if you like the genere. cast includes francis mcdormand, tony soprano, tony shaloub.

"Goodness gracious Birdie!" :p

There is an interesting new movie out (on DVD) about Amish folks called "Devil's Playground". I could not believe that they actually turn their kids loose at sixteen and hope that the kids come back to the faith! The kids have big parties and are expected to get drunk and wild (seriously). they call it "rumspringa". Hard to believe I know.

I lived several years in Branch county MI which is heavy Amish country. The lady that owned the small country store near us had an addition to the store and a garage built by a young Amish crew, she told me when they thought she was out of hearing range that they used the foulest language she had ever heard and that they bought a lot of beer.( driving a buggy under the influence????...........

Amish

In NE Indiana there is a big problem with Amish drinking and "driving". Buggy and motorizied vehicle accidents are common. Buggy propulsion usually the big loser (not to mention the occupants). One of the reasons for Indiana's OWI law wording. Covers buggies, bicycles, lawn mowers, etc.
