MINI cooper thoughts

So I had this moment of clarity last night about 2 AM before I passed out, MINI's are purdy quick with little horsepowers, has anyone got like a real powerful little engine and put one in it, likke a couple hundred hp? How about, whats the biggest engine you could fit in there? I'm bored and need a new goal.

Cool. I assume that the new ones arent much different, at least not to the point where it couldnt be done in one of them? I dont want to spend a whole lot on something like this, its kinda ridiculous.

I heard that BMW are bringing out a larger capacity version of the supercharged cooper S.

Anyway, isn't it someting of a girls car? Tart's handbag?

I think the S is more mannly than the normal Mini. They sound half way decent under hard aclleration. Long story short I kind of would like one.

Forget manly. I'm getting one, painting it pink, with purple interior, and making fast enough to blow the doors off the most manly car I might stop at a light next to.
Not really, but its a similar concept.
Uhhh.. Paul, wouldnt a 454 be bigger than the mini?

You know when you stop at the next light you would probably get you know what beat out of you.
I think that a 454 would be almost as wide as the Mini. I can see how they could get an Inline 6 in but a 454 would be some kind of trick\

'Tain't a 454 but its got a V8
This is starting to look promising, but I dunno if i'd sell my car to fund it. Maybe put it in the closet a year or two.

454? think it might push a little in a tight corner? Maybe it would pull if you could get the power to the ground.........

I think if you pulled up alongside a potential competitor in a 454-powered Mini, the rumble alone would dissuade any takers! :p
