you shoulda kept honking at him and so on until his car caught fire. damn racist pig.

ok, he might not have been racist but he was certainly behaving in a manner coinsistent with one of someon who belives all that nonsense without applying a thought to it.

if black neighborhoods are so dangerous, why do people continue to live there.

Driving on the capital beltway a couple days ago a traffic jam could be seen ahead. As traffic began to slow down, an SUV in front of me decided to exit rather than get stuck in the jam. I was in the second to left lane of four and he was in the right hand lane.

The idiot turned 90 degrees to the left to make the left hand exit, crossing the three lanes between him and the exit! I slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting him and was nearly rear ended by a Mercedes behind me. What an IDIOT!! To make matters worse, he had his wife and kids in the truck. All for the cost of saving a few minutes.

They'd be better off taking a separate car from now on!!

I'm in bumper to bumper on a busy two lane road (I am in the left lane). I had just slowly passed an on-ramp on the right, and the traffic came to a stop again. I glanced over at this scum in a silver grand am in the right lane and for some reason I could almost read what he was thinking. He was looking around, especially behind his right shoulder at the ramp. "No way" I thought. Just then as the traffic inched forward he drives his car forward into the merging lane, slams it in reverse and proceeds to back up onto the on ramp! He dissappeared over the crest of a hill just as an approaching mini bus was swerving to avoid him. Now that's stupid.

stupid drivers

I was driving in Nashville, TN one day on my way to work and as I was sitting in my lane to go straight, there was a taxi in the left lane (which is the turning lane). Our light turned green, he got his arrow and I went straight like I'm supposed to...well, he didn't turn, almost hit me by trying to go straight,(fortunately I was in my little New Beetle that will cut quickly) and then he had the balls to blow his horn at me....You'd think a taxi driver would at least know which lanes were turn and straight! I don't normally fly the finger, but this day It flew itself.
I just kicked it down to get away from him.
Most people driving in Nashville aren't even from there.

another stupid driver

On my way to work another day, as I was driving up I65 through Brentwood, TN this WOMAN was behind me in a Camry, loaded with kids....mind you I'm in the HOV lane doing 80mph...she gets on my bumper and starts flashing her lights at me...in TN that can get you shot! Anyway, I'm passing every car in the other lanes so I'm not going to get over and let this idiot pass. Well, a short break in the line of cars to our right allowed her to blow past me, give me that "Eat SH**" look as she proceeded to accelerate to well over 100mph, and then zoomed across 4 lanes of traffic only to have to slow down behind a line of cars in the off ramp to a city street. I don't mean to be disrespectful to women, after all, my mother taught me how to drive and she has an absolutely clean driving record....but I despise women drivers...especially in Nashville!

Wow, that dumb$h!t doesn't deserve a 68 Camaro!

I hope he didn't end up crashing it.

My crazy driver story:

A few years ago, I was driving through TN on my way to visit family, on I-75, I think, or maybe it was I-24....anyway, this idiot on a red Ninja-bike BLEW by me in the fast lane...I was probably doing 75-80mph, so he was easily doing 110 or more...closely followed by 7 Tennessee State Trooper cars! He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, no helmet, leading a VERY high-speed chase!

They continued on towards the horizon, and I couldn't see the bike any more, but I could still see the back of a couple of the cop cars, and then....BAM! All of a sudden I see parts fly into the air, and cop cars scatter in all directions, obviously in an attempt to avoid the crashing bike. Everyone around me slows to a crawl, but keeps driving down the highway....As we pass by the scene, there are police cars randomly stopped all over the place, bike parts all over the place, and the driver is lying on the right shoulder of the road, along with what's left of the bike....5 or 6 of the troopers had their guns drawn and pointed at him, and he was lying on his back, hands in the air, trembling, and with an "Oh, $h!t!" look on his face! He probably wasn't really feeling much of the pain of his injuries yet, but his shirt was gone, jeans shredded, and his arms, shoulder, and one leg looked like hamburger meat! OUCH!

I just drove on, and shook my head, thinking that it was amazing that he was even alive, and that he had gotten what he deserved, and luckily no one else was hurt.

Why do most of these stories seem to originate in TN...? Something I should know about before I visit?

You should come to central VA- the dumb driving moves are so frequent, I can't even think of a specific one...!

Generally, my favorite bonehead move is the complete stop before attempting to 'yield' onto the highway.

I am thinking of installing a cow-catcher on the front of my 108 for the sole purpose of pushing those (usually women (sorry but true) and SUV-driving) people out into the middle of the road....

There, I said it!

:D

sfloriII 02-11-2004 05:17 PM

That complete stop happened to me just today. Idiot woman in a Jaguar stops on the on ramp in front of me, then accelerates very slowly to enter the fast moving traffic. I didn't want to be anywhere near that action, so I just passed her on the right (lots of room) and got waaaay ahead of her.

my favorite bonehead move

my favorite bonehead move is to be turning right off a four-lane highway with a HUGE turning lane for that sole purpose and the idiot turning stops in the fast moving driving lane to do the turn...hence not utilizing the turning lane at all!!!
I like that cowcatcher idea...wouldn't work too well on my new beetle, but on my big diesel chevy pickup....hmmm...that just might work

sfloriII 02-13-2004 05:10 PM

Just today in heavy rush hour traffic on the capital beltway: An idiot in a Jeep SUV in stop-and-go traffic reading the newspaper!! I got away from him fast!
