whilst I in no-way support terrorism (having lived under the shadow of it for years thanks to my government) I find these kind of things sickly.
no, we haven't forgotten that horrible event. We're reminded of it everyday by more american soldiers dying because of the president and his good buddies with their hands in big company pies using it as an excuse to push his personal policy on the american people, and other countries peoples. we're reminded of it with 'code orange' and other stupid ways to frighten the american public into thinking that increasing spending on defence and not on education is a good idea. we're NOT reminded that the CIA trained Osama and his 'folks' as Bush would say, to fight against the russians, and the US and Uk goverments installed & supported Saddam originally. We're told that any thoughts like this are 'unpatriotic' by the media and to 'support our troops' ; something we can't disagree with. we're supposed to feel guilty if we don't. that's why tv is not allowed to show the coffins of dead soldiers coming home. that supports them and their families really well... Instead we get hollywood 'saving jessica lynch' crap, which i think is a bigger insult to the serving troops still out there in terrible conditions. remember all those who died on sept 11th, yes. but remember that they sadly died partly as a consequence of our government's actions.
