Windshield haze
My windshield on the passenger side has some minor very fine scratchs over about a 3"sq. area. I think it is caused from a worn wiper rubber. Does anyone know or could reccommend a product to polish the scratches out? Thanks.

given that just about any insurance company will replace a windshield for about $100 I would suggest that over trying to fix it.
That sure is a purdy car!

Do not fear. The car is not possessed. It's just a reflection from the flash. Paint is great, not one oil leak.
oh, BTW, since the insurance is buying out my totalled E320, I don't want to submit any claims at this point.

I knew a auto body man awhile ago that said fine scuffs and scratches can actually be buffed out by someone that knows what he's doing.
Emphisis on the "knows what he's doing" part, I suppose.

To find..
someone that knows what he is doing, look in your yellow pages for glass cutters. Places that make glass table tops and vanity tops.
The people that buff out and polish the glass in these places have the knowledge and the equipment (wet polishing) to be able to give you a hand - most lileky. Iggy
