headlights not working in 560 sel
 

My normal headlights stoped working in my 89 560 sel. The fog lights, bright lights signals, and break lights all work, just the dim headlights don't.
At the same time when I turn the swithch on I get a warning light on the dash that looks like a light bulb, this warning light goes out when I turn on the brights.
any ideas? thanks.
