Question 2002 PT Cruiser

Does anyone know the secret for changing headlight bulbs in a 2002 PT Cruiser? After gaining access through the fender panel there is no room for hand placement to twist the old bulbs out and then twist the new one in. Need severe help-too many busted knuckles and sore hands (both mine and my wife's) not to mention the negative feedback from the wife-it's her car.

Howdy Genofar,
Here is what the shop manual says. Remove headlamp access cover in splash shield. Rotate socket counterclockwise one quarter turn. Remove bulb and socket from headlamp housing. Disconnect wire conector from back of headlamp high or low beam bulb. Hope this helps.
