I saw that several months ago.. pretty extreme I would say for a bunch of folks who stole scrap wood. Emptying out your pistols on a car then running it over twice with a car is a waste of tax payers money and time for a case like this. Retake the wood.. backhand them againts the back of their heads and return to business as usual would be a better responce.

Talk about overreacting..!

That clip had the exact opposite effect of what it was intended to.
I'm finding myself sitting here feeling sorry for those guys who just wanted a little wood.. And feeling an urge to slap those soldierboys around for an hour or two.

Any more displays like this and you'll have me reading the Koran (sp?) for cryin' out loud!

I do know the soldiers are just trying to uphold peace and stop the looters. But this way of doing it will only make more enemys.

What a bunch of *******s. I hope these guys don't come home after the war and cry about not being respected over there.

I'm a bit disturbed at this procedure too. You're supposed to keep the perps IN the vehicle.

The soldiers should have given them some of their bottled spring water and candy bars. They would politely inform the misguided innocents that this wood belonged to someone else and offered to return it for them. After which they would have directed them to the nearest Home Depot for their wood needs. A big handshake and a verse or two of We Are the World. But nooooo. Instead they inspect the car for safety and pollution compliance, and as you can see, it failed.

I liked the part where the horn blows on the second pass. Car is virtually destroyed but the horn still works!! You can't hide quality!!

Well at the time he was using his taxi to steal, sooooo cuuuuuurunch. If anyone has a problem with the soldiers reaction maybe they should sign up and go straighten things out.

I'm sure in earlier footage the perps tried something very stupid unprovoked damage by soldiers is frowned upon.

Medmech.. I find it amazing that you like to defend any soldier EVEN if its shown that what they did is wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if those nutheads will be the next McVeigh's or John Muhammad's with the way they act.

Instead of crushing cars belonging to people that were stealing WOOD... it would better if they used the gun power and tanks to go after the bad guys. What they did was not because it was the "right" thing to do... it was pure entertainment and boredom.

BTW.. w126, it doesn't matter if it happened one time or several times.. bottom line is it DID happen. I find it hard to believe that this was a one time type of thing.

Wow. How can someone chastize someone else for cruel behavior when they present a video of a injury on a motorcycle as entertainment?

My neighbor's son got back from Iraq a few months ago who served as an MP in Tikrit. He can't find work, seems aloof and is generally depressed. War ain't pretty. I'm not defending what these guys did, but no one can understand the extreme conditions they endure on a daily basis.
I agree..

You're comparing two completely different things that can't even be compared! One is of a moron who dangerously drives a motorcycle without any safety gear and caused harm to themself... the other is of bored soldiers going overboard with their actions.
