That guy used to belong to the mbz.org diesel list, and sent me a write-up, detailing his entire process for the swap-over. He did outstanding work throughout. He mated the OM 617 and tranny to a divorced Nissan transfer case and running gear. He lives way up in the mountains of Northern California, so this project has an actual purpose.
