Do you see the way the speedo sweeps, more like a tach, on the chase bike? The acceleration capability of the 'Busa is nothing less than startling.

The Hayabusa is the poster child for graduated motorcyle licencing. Any yahoo with $15KCDN can take one home, fire it up, and ride to 314km/h, getting there faster than many racing cars. At 160 km/h (100mph) the bike feels like it's going so slow you could hop off and walk along. I've never ridden anything so stable at speed. A twist of the wrist (even staying in top gear) and 200km/h is long gone. Crazy. I had a CBX years back that had huge modified racing brakes that were weak-kneed compared to the stock Suzuki ones. But, even with those binders, that bike should not be in the hands of most riders.

Mental. That Viper is pretty amazing to be able to keep up with the stock bikes...until the bored/nitro one creams it.
