Angry Some people deserve a fate worse than death.

This stuff makes me sick. Our treasured elderly taken advantage of and abused by those that on the outside say they are there to help. And they got lots of grant money from the government too!

Here's an excerpt:

"A nonprofit group in Southeast [Washington, DC] that received more than $1.9 million from the city to provide free services to elderly low-income residents illegally charged recipients for meals, day care and transportation, D.C. investigators say.
Senior Citizens Counseling & Delivery Service has charged senior citizens $1 for each day they received a free meal, according to a D.C. Office of the Inspector General report.
The D.C. Office of Aging has paid more than $1.9 million in grants to Senior Citizens Counseling since 2000 to provide free meals and other services to elderly low-income Ward 8 residents."

Oh our charished non profits. If your ever out of work and you want a great salary for you and your family, start a non profit. I know the founder-scam artist of the Child Safety Council, he also has Michigan Wildlife Protection council, they focus on protecting Geese and Deer hardly in need of protection. He is very good at soliciting money and unknowing do gooders chip in. He take the salary and the rest goes to the maintence of his home and property while his kids are paid $60K a year to "watch" the property.

It seems like the jig is up and he's finally been busted.

Another is the Humane Society, their CEO is one of the highest paid non profit CEO's but they still beg people to work for free.

Pathetic.

I know a local guy that makes his living this way. He sends out mass mailings asking for funds to pay for efforts on Capital Hill for lobbying, etc. He gets all kinds of money, heads down to Capital Hill and talks to a couple people, then heads off to the bank!

He's been doing it for years.
