I saw an interesting ad for Mercedes on TV (just prior to "Meet the Press") It consists of flashing about two dozen still snapshots of owners standing beside their prized Mercedes cars.

There are lots of current cars, and many from older vintage----and with quite a few high mileage grill badges proudly displayed on those lovely older diesels! All snapshots with smiling owners standing nearby...

The ad simply ends with a caption, "Nobody ever poses with their toaster!"

I've seen the commercial a few times, and I agree...very nice Gotta love all thoes 115's and 123's

my favorite is still the one with the Mercedse leaving the line and going through life one frame at a time all the way to the crusher it brings teers to my eyes. If anyone knows where I can download it please let me know.

good call. I know it was only a car but it still made me well up to see it's inglorious end.

the music in the new ad with Sir Sterling Moss is kinda cheesy though.

You know I realized in looking at that site I never had a picture of me and the 500 or any car other than my powerwheel jeep and the 300sd.
