Armrest swap
I have found a passinger seat that is in sweet shape, which I would like for a drivers seat. Can I take the armrest off the driver's seat back and put it on the passinger seat?

Hi Jason
Ya need to give a little more detail here. Year and model of car helps. Then you may need to post this question over in the "tech help" forum if you don't get any replys here. If it's an older model, the diesel forum is pretty active as to giving help with do-it-yourself projects, even if it's not a diesel. Good luck

Rick,
Good questions. I think the car (in the salvage yard) is a 79. I am sure it is a 300cd. I am hoping to put it in my daily driver as the seat is about gone. (it is a Dodge Cummins) I know it is a oddball idea, but the salvage yard has three Mercedes, and none of the drivers seats are any good, but I love the idea of a spring loaded seat to smooth out the bumps. |

I have a lot to learn!
thanks for the heads up. I am fealing confident, so I may just go for it and see what will work. At the worst, I end up with a seat that is more comfortable than the factory set up. Jason
