Hi I am wondering what sort of little things have you guys done to your cars,
I am talking about things like adding a "Hazard Triangle" in the trunk. I do not mean things like euro lights My list : 1. Adding a Hazard Triangle 2. Fire Extinguisher (where to put it W124?) 3. Seat belt shoulder pads (MB logo on it [yay or nay] 4. Keep em coming |

I haven't really done much, othre than a few bumper stickers...but i would love to know where you wind up mounting the fire extinguisher.
I don't have one in my car, but I know I really should...the biggest thing stopping me is figuring out where to put it where I can get to it easily but won't look too horribly bad or take up toom uch space...

Three Albertson's bags of clothes for Goodwill. Been there for months.
Why haven't I dropped them off? Goodwill has a drop-off site on my route to work! B |

Howdy All,
Put a "Flame Ball" knob on my shifter and removed the back seats and put tie-down rings in the head liner so I can stretch the cargo netting completely across the back so when I open the hatch the dogs can't "bolt" on me. This was all done to the Cruiser.

Chrome bolt covers for the ML...wheels are chromed, but the lug bolts are a dull alloy so...
Chrome bolt covers for the SL...those lug bolts actually looked rusty...especially against the chrome facade of the wheels themselves so once again... Accidentally dumped gasoline onto the W124 trunk liner...pretty much ruined the backing so I decided to have fun with it...had it dry-cleaned, and then took it to an upholstery shop for red-piping along the border and "300E" embroidered onto the liner... Oh yeah...all of the MBs have emblem valve cover caps!

mounting the fire extinguisher
In the country where my dad lives, fire extinguishers are mandatory to have in the car. In his MB, it is mounted below your legs (to the seat) of the driverīs seat. In other words it is located right underneath your calves. Since it is mounted to the seat, when you move the seat it moves along with it.
I can only ssume that you can get the mounting braket at your local dealer....... Iggy PS I have always wanted to get one for my benz mounted in the same place.
