Found a 84 528e that was on its last day of life and the lady said I could take whatever I wanted so I took what was left of the body kit all I need is the side skirts and I will be ready to paint once I have the money. If I had the space for the car I would have taken it because the problem she was having with it was a shifter needing a rebuild the motor had 83k on it too. I would have even had a parts car with the same parts.
Oh well I was just hyper because of this 40 bucks I spent and wanted to post

Nice find, Dan. Is that a standard E28 535iS/M5 rear valence? I'm not crazy about the spoiler but I've seen alot worse!

No it's from a company called Zender they are one of 3 that I know of that make them and the only one that does not require euro bumpers. I'm not crazy over the wing either but the price was right. I dont know I may see what I can get out of it off ebay and then use the stock BMW wing (more of a lip)

Yeah, the stock iS wing looks pretty good...or even no wing at all. A long time ago, my brother had an '83 533i in which he installed a Metric Mechanic 3.5 engine. He upgraded to the iS front and rear valences and some sort of aftermarket side skirts. The car looked sharp!

Metric Mechanic stuff is great but costs big bucks. I would love a motor and trans from them but I would rather spend 4 grand for the motor on a TCD turbo system.
The wings make a huge difference at high speeds from what I have seen the triple digit float goes away till 135ish and even then is no where near as bad.

Now I just need to attempt some repait using fiber glass on the wing because you can see where somebody opened the trunk with the antenna up Hopefully soon I can afford the sideskirts and I will be set. This way my car looks lower. I don't want to go any lower for fear of hitting anything that sticks up on the road. But thanks for the warm fuzzy feeling from the complements.
