Swapping steering wheels

I really hate the steering wheel in the 126....too big and not that good looking. I really want to put the "90's" steering wheel in....the one that came in the w140's and the W202's.

I saw one for sale on Ebay. Would it be possible to switch? I would rip out the airbag though.

not sure about newer OEM ones but its always easy to get a hub adapter and an after market steering wheel. since u won't have ab airbag anyways.

Buy an '89-91 125 wheel. Small(er) diameter and leather. Should bolt right up.

I doubt the SRS system will recognize the bag though. If that matters to you.

I believe you can make it work, but you'll have to use the metal core from your steering wheel.

It makes it easy if you don't have an airbag, too.
