Chicago Transit Authority - Blast From Past

Driving from Kona to Hilo in a rather nice red V-6 Mustang convertible (thank you Budget!) and approaching Waimea, I brought along a two disc greatest hits of Chicago when a long forgotten tune cued up . .

Dialogue, Part 1 and 2.

What a perfect tune for the present times.

Does it make you angry
the way war is dragging on?

Well, I hope the President
knows what he's into, I don't know

Don't you ever see the starvation
in the city where you live, all the
needless hunger all the
needless pain?

I haven't been there lately,
the country is so fine, but my
neighbors don't seem hungry 'cause
they haven't got the time

Muttonchops and polyester leisure suits can't be far behind.

Hee hee, thanks to B,S & T, Chicago, Ides of March . . . brass players (and an occasional flute player) in high school bands finally got to be "rock musicians"
