Aquariums are cool
 I've had many off and on since I was in my early teens. Last time I had a 14" Koi in a 55 gallon tank. Looked like a stinkin' salmon swimming around in it But it got a serious case of fungus and died I had 2 power filters going trying to keep the water clean, but still wasn't enough. I didn't get my out doors pond built in time for him. Just have boring 'ol gold fish in the pond now.Post a few bigger pix of your fish, if you can. Never seen albino cichlids before.

Yes, an albino Pseudotropheus from Lake Malawi. I was way into East African Cichlids years ago when they started coming into the U.S. At one point, I had 23 breeding tanks set up in my basement and I was shipping fish all over the country.

Had two of them last year...started out small, then grew to be pretty big suckers...kept increasing tank size (and diet)...almost had to start dropping Chihuahuas into the tank!
Then they started battling for territory...had to put up a partition to keep them from tearing each other up! Lost them both upon returning from a weekend vacation...it was a putrid sight!

Cichlids are aggressive...
In the history of my tank, ive lost about three different cichlids due to aggression. One was due to direct attacks (had torn fins and missing scales). The other two were intimidated into not eating, and eventually weakened and died. There are several ways to get a handle on cichlid aggression;
-Fully populate the tank (10 in a 55 gallon tank is full), -Have plenty of hiding places (cichlids love to hide in and among groups of rocks), -Keep a diverse range of sub-species, i have only 1 pair out of ten fish that are the same sub-species(Electric-blue Johanni). HOWEVER, DO NOT keep South African cichlids with African cichlids!!!(all of mine are African) -Lastly, correct feeding techniques can and does reduce aggression. As much as i cherish the Albino cichlid, he isnt my favorite fish in my tank. That honor goes to my Orange-back Cobue. This fish has a very dark, rich purple color, with faint black stripes. BUT, when he gets excited he does a vibrating dance and literally changes color:
(Note, this is not a pic of my fish, it is the same species/sub-species).

The real trick to keeping the peace in a community tank full of aggressive Malawian cichlids is to make darn certain that the alpha fish doesn't have an overly aggressive nature. Most Haplochromine species are unsuitable in this regard, but there are some exceptions. My personal favorite was to keep a pair of L. fuelleborni in the tank, and I mean a mature pair. A healthy male will pretty much kick the crap out of anything that challenges him, but they aren't perticularly prone to start trouble.
