Threat Levels for the Color Blind
 

First Level -- Everything is Fine, Stay the Course

Second Level -- It could be that Ashcroft has a caffiene buzz or perhaps Tom Ridge's "spider-sense" starts to tingle.

Third Level -- We're not sure when, where or how, but keep an eye on the foreigner next to you on the bus, just in case

Fourth Level -- Americans are warned to avoid any Grateful Dead reunion tours this summer . .

What exactly was the message in the "threat" press conference this week? They don't know who, what, when or where, but it might be this summer and the G8 meeting, political conventions or . . . what, the Iowa State Fair? The "wanted" list they put out has been out for over a year, some for over 4 years. Finally, with all the credible information, from separate sources, no change in the threat level?

Perhaps they feel if something happens, they are "covered". After all, they did issue a warning, didn't they?
