I still remember the good ol'e days when drivers were smart enough to actually be able to tell if they had their lights on or not..:rolleyes:

We've had mandatory drl's for many years. And the only problem i can see is when a driver that don't have auto-drl's forget to turn the lights on, and is practically invisible in the crowd of 'enlightned' cars.

Motocycles should ALWAYS have the light on, mandatory or not.

Pretty normal to drive with your headlights on in the daytime here in rainy Costal OR ..........

I work at night so my drive is from 10:00 pm to 11:00 pm. So many cars have out of alignment headlights it drives me nuts. In the morning when some drivers are going to work, I have to flip my day-night mirror to night.

My Volvos have DRLs which can be switched off. My wife likes them, I don't, we're so opposite.

My W126 300SE has that battery draining feature of headlights on with the key off. So odd for such an expensive car.
