Summer Job at Merc Dealership

So, after doing detailing, and absolutely loving my Mercedes, I've decided being a "lot boy" at a "My Local Mercedes Benz Center," would probably be a good time. I figure you know, washing cars moving them around the lot, gettin some guy his coffee, i could care less if i'm around brand new beauties from stuttgart every day.
But, i dont know how to approach the dealership! I figure if i walk in there, im oging to get a salesman and he's not the guy who can help me. Do i ask for the manager?
Anybody have any advice on what to do?

There are 2 "centers" near me, one in haverhill MA(10 min. drive.) and one in manchester NH (25 min. drive).
So I have 2 chances to receive employment.

You'll probably want to contact the dealership's fixed ops manager. He or she will more than likely be the one to make calls regarding hiring. Make sure you set up an appointment to go in. I personally will not interview some one I'm not expecting unless there is absolutely nothing going on (which isn't likely this time of year). Dress nice, be professional and be persistent. Most of our porters work on the service side of things, so you'll likely be getting cars from the lot for customers and washing/vacuuming them, providing shuttle service, etc. Good luck with the job search. Be careful though, once you get sucked into a dealership, it can be very difficult to leave.

so i call the stealership, ask if they're hiring, they say yes i ask when to go in they say no i say okay thank you.

All done by a third party here. They also pay very very very poorly here. 5.25 an hour.
I went my sophmore year and tried to get into it. They want long term workers from what I gathered and also it's not really a gateway into the dealership which is what I was kind of looking for.

When I was in high school, I worked for a Honda dealership. They sponsored my race bikes, and I earned pocket money assembling new bikes, washing and PDI'ing the cars (we sold both) and working the parts counter. It was some of the best summers EVER.
