Smile Date with the Devil :) Regarding the 500

Well I went to pick up my sister Friday from my mothers house and we got to talking. The 500 came up and she told me the gentleman who bought it has cancer and is in the final stages. He has treated the car very well investing something like 5k into it since he bought it. She knows that I still want the 500 and called the gentleman. He wants to go to luch Saturday to talk about the car and I will gladly do so I plan to give him the books and info I have on the car as they only taunt me anymore. So we will see what he says. I'm also to see what all he has done to the car.
Just wanted to share since I'm pretty hyper about it

If you don't mind my asking, why did you sell it in the first place?

Long story short...
I moved out in highshcool and since the car was in my mothers and fathers name my mom sold the car.
Now we are back on speaking terms which is a whole lot better than we were then.

get rid of the bmw stick with your name! lol. j/k.

If it turns out that the car is really great.. why not buy it and store it in the garage. When the time comes that you can afford to pay off insurance for both.. then drive it.

I think what I will end up doing is finding a storage unit and putting it there and use it very little. Also recalled the company called Heritage that insures collector cars and getting a qoute once on the BMW for like 300 a year which I may be able to pull off.
The gears are turning
