Yep, another great one.
I almost feel his death will go somewhat unnoticed since it falls in the mourning period of President Reagan. Sad.

He was greatest rythm and blues singer of all times
Georgia, Georgia, the whole day through Just an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind. Georgia, Georgia, a song of you Comes as sweet and clear as moonlight through the pines. Other arms reach out to me Other eyes smile tenderly Still in peaceful dreams I see The road leads back to you. Georgia, Georgia, no peace I find Just an old sweet song keeps Georgia on my mind. Melodies bring memories That linger in my heart Make me think of Georgia Why did we ever part? Some sweet day when blossoms fall And all the world's a song I'll go back to Georgia 'Cause that's where I belong. |

Remeber very little of the man other than the Pepsi commercials when I was very little but I think back and smile. I always amazed he could play the piano when I was little.
Sorry to hear of his passing |
