Mad Max SL

I don't think any part of this car has a 107- part number.

Sculpted lines and an impeccable pedigree make this car worth owning

This Benz is in excellent vintage condition.

This convertible 450 SL is not for those who like to blend in with the crowd...cruise down the main drag and take in all the looks. Heads will be turning!
(And that's not the only thing that will be turning)

"UNLIKE ANY OTHER" I would like to call that an under-statement!

The only good thing about this car. No three pointed star.
Was it PT. Bartum or WC. Fields that said a sucker was born everyday?

That is really sad. When I first saw the post, I thought it was actually the Holden in Mad Max that had the MB front end treatment, you see it right outside the cafe where Goose is eating before he hits the road to chase the Night Rider. Am I the only one who knows what I'm talking about?

I don't know the car you're talking about, but everything else makes perfect sense! I'll look for it the next time I watch the movie.

This particular car was featured in the unreleased sequel, Mad Max...beyond Dunderhead!

Just what I need - a vintage Mercedes that looks like an '87 Chevy Monte Carlo! At least it's missing the lime-green '59 Caddy tailfins I recently saw on another 'vintage' SL. (Can you say "Barf Buggy"?)

Happy Motoring, Mark

I wonder if it has a barf bag in it. You'd need one to drive that thing.

Oh Rick! Does there always have to be money involved? This think is so sick, lets just do it discreetly. It would be kinda like al queda trying to "sell" videos of one of their beheadings.

if you dont think about it being an MB, just a car someone customized, its pretty cool.....i certainly wouldnt own it...but your hats gotta go off to someone who has spent that much time and money on being so creative....with that said, where can i buy the crusher video? nothing like seeing countless hours of work turned into a soda can
